RIDING REQUIREMENTS
*All riders participating in any activity with Western Reins Riding Club must have read, signed, and received
a copy of Western Reins Riding Club’s Consent & Liability Form.
*All riders are required while on property to wear an appropriate and approved, pointed toe, riding boot with heel.
(Exceptions will be made for beginners)
*All riders must own an appropriate and approved riding helmet which must be worn at all times while mounted on any
horse at Western Reins Riding Club. One may be provided for first timers, but helmets are a part of riding and any individual
who seeks equestrian training should own one. (No exceptions! No helmet = No Ride) Falls happen, getting hurt
is part of an equine life, and if it hasn't happened yet, it doesn't mean that it won't. By all means, these accidents are
avoided as much as possible, but we aren't willing to take the risks. We believe too much in safety. If you need help choosing
a helmet or locating a store where one may be purchased, please call or email me.
Riders will be placed in an appropriate class and instruction/ training will be according to each individual’s
riding level. Each riders level will be determined by their ability to manage and communicate with a horse while riding and
knowledge of basic horsemanship.
